Deposit

A deposit of ZAR 1,000 per person is required by Wine and Whales Golf Tours at the time of confirmation of reservation. 50% payment is due 45 days prior to departure or at time of reservation if that is less than 45 days prior to departure. The balance is payable on arrival.

Cancellations

Full refund of sums paid minus ZAR 2,000 per person will be made if written notice of cancellation is received by Wine and Whales Golf Tours a minimum of 45 days prior to departure. This amount will offset operational costs of handling the reservation and cancellation in respect of third parties and will be charged regardless of the reason.

Cancellations received less than 45 days prior to departure will be subject to a cancellation fee of 20% of the total land cost.

Amendments

Any amendment to a booked itinerary may incur a charge of ZAR 500 per change if there is an impact to third parties.

Air Transportation

All matters pursuant to air travel arrangements fall outside of any contractual arrangement between Wine and Whales Golf Tours and its clients.

Responsibilities

Acacia Way Trading 114 CC trading as Wine and Whales Golf Tours or its Agents (referred to as ‘the company’), cannot be held responsible for any alterations which may incur in the timetable of services other than those owned and operated by the company for any reason whatsoever.

Should clients incur additional expenses, they are the responsibility of each client.

The right is reserved to cancel or amend any itinerary or programme if it should become necessary. The company shall be exempt from all liability in respect of any detention, delay, loss, damage, sickness or injury however and by whosoever caused and whatever kind incurring to the client at any time when the client is not on board a carrier or conveyance used or operated by the company.

The passage contract used by the company shall constitute the sole contract between them and the purchaser of these tours or the client.

All tickets, deposit tickets, coupons and orders are furnished subject, in all respects, to those terms and conditions under which the means of transportation or other services provided thereby are offered or supplied by owners, operators, public carriers and managing agents.

The company is not liable for any injury or property damage arising caused by any circumstances and reserves the right to amend, make variation or cancel tours, accommodation, transportation or other services and facilities advertised herein. These conditions cannot be varied or altered or waived by any servant or agent or representative of the company or by any person providing services or facilities.

The company will not be bound by representation, purported to have been made on its behalf, unless it confirms or has confirmed or made a representation in writing.

The company reserves the right to utilise hotels or places of abode, other than those named in itineraries, to suit amended reservations.

As the arrangements for each entire tour, as specified in the itineraries, represent a complete package, an itemization of costs will not be rendered. Bookings are only accepted on these conditions and the responsibilities as outlined above. Payment of a deposit is deemed to be an acknowledgement of this understanding.

Travel Insurance

Wine and Whales Golf Tours strongly recommend that clients purchase travel insurance for the entire duration of their stay in South Africa. It is imperative that anyone travelling to South Africa holds fully comprehensive medical cover for the duration of their stay.
